Het freediven maakt een groei door met als gevolg dat er steeds meer freediving wedstrijden worden georganiseerd. Dat is erg mooi, maar voor deze wedstrijden is het noodzakelijk dat er voldoende actieve AIDA Judges beschikbaar zijn. Om hiervoor te zorgen organiseert de Dutch Freediving Association (DFA) een AIDA Judge Pool course voor iedereen die belangstelling heeft om als actieve AIDA Judge bij freedive wedstrijden te worden ingezet. Deze AIDA Judge Pool course is ook interessant voor deelnemers aan wedstrijden om zo op de hoogte te zijn van het AIDA-reglement.
Tijdens de AIDA Judge course wordt uitgebreid ingegaan op de AIDA reglementen en procedures die je nodig hebt als AIDA Judge. Tijdens de zwembad sessie en aan de hand van videomateriaal word je ook getraind in het toepassen hiervan. De AIDA Judge course (pool) wordt afgesloten met een examen (theorie-examen en video examen).
De AIDA Judge course staat onder leiding van Judge Instructor Kimmo Lahtinen. Naast een zeer grote ervaring als AIDA Judge, bij onder andere wereldkampioenschappen, brengt hij ook zijn ervaring als deelnemer aan wedstrijden mee en dat geeft deze AIDA Judge course nog meer diepgang.
Wanneer
De AIDA Judge Pool course wordt gehouden op: 8, 12 en 13 oktober 2024.
De sessie op dinsdag 8 oktober, van 17.00 tot 21.00 uur is een online sessie (Zoom).
Zaterdag 12 en zondag 13 oktober zijn lange en intensieve dagen die om 9.00 uur beginnen op locatie.

Voor DFA leden kost de AIDA Judge Pool course € 200,-
Ben je geen lid van de DFA dan kost de cursus € 335,-*
Dit bedrag is inclusief de registratie bij AIDA en lunch, thee/koffie en snacks op zaterdag en zondag.
*de DFA sponsort deze cursus voor haar leden, daarom is er voor niet DFA leden extra bijdrage.
Voorwaarden voor deelname
Om deel te nemen aan de AIDA Judge-course (pool) – niveau E, moet een persoon:
- minimaal 18 jaar oud zijn;
- een freediver-cursus (AIDA2 of gelijkwaardig) hebben voltooid of als atleet aan een freedive-wedstrijd hebben deelgenomen en/of als veiligheidsduiker aan een freedive-wedstrijd hebben deelgenomen;
- lid zijn van een AIDA-National;
- de AIDA Liability Release en Medical Statement heeft voltooid (wordt aan het begin van de cursus ingevuld).
- VOORAFGAAND AAN DE CURSUS DE HUIDIGE REGELS HEEFT GELEZEN. We beginnen met een kennis toets!!

Registratie bij AIDA
Om als AIDA Judge actief te zijn moet je geregistreerd zijn bij AIDA.
Ben je DFA lid en heb je de Nederlandse Nationaliteit dan kun je jezelf registeren bij AIDA en wordt je registratie door de DFA goedgekeurd.
Indien je niet de Nederlandse nationaliteit hebt moet je registratie worden goedgekeurd door de AIDA National van het land waar je paspoort is afgegeven.

Aanmelden voor de AIDA Judge Pool course kan door het invullen van het inschrijfformulier en betaling van het cursusgeld.

AIDA Judge course (pool) 8, 12 &13 October 2024 in the Netherlands
Freediving is growing and as a result more and more freediving competitions are being organized. That is very nice, but for these competitions it is necessary that there are enough active AIDA Judges available. To ensure this, the Dutch Freediving Association (DFA) organizes an AIDA Judge Pool course for anyone who is interested in being used as an active AIDA Judge in freediving competitions. This AIDA Judge Pool course is also interesting for participants in competitions to be aware of the ADIA regulations.
During the AIDA Judge course, the AIDA rules, regulations and procedures that you need as an AIDA Judge are discussed in detail. During the pool session and based on video material, you will also be trained in applying this. The AIDA Judge course (pool) is concluded with exams (theory exam and video exam).
The AIDA Judge course is led by Judge Instructor Kimmo Lahtinen. In addition to a great deal of experience as an AIDA Judge, at world championships, among others, he also brings his experience as a participant in competitions and that gives this AIDA Judge course even more depth.

For DFA members, the AIDA Judge Pool course costs € 200,-
If you are not a member of the DFA, the course costs € 335.*
This includes registration at AIDA and lunch, tea/coffee and snacks on Saturday and Sunday.
*the DFA sponsors this course for its members, therefore there is an extra contribution for non-DFA members.
Prerequisites
To enroll in the AIDA Judge course – level E, an individual must:
- minimal 18 years of age;
- have completed a freediver course (AIDA2 or equivalent) or have entered a freedive competition as an athlete and/or have entered a freedive competition as a safety diver;
- be a member of an AIDA National;
- has completed the AIDA Liability Release and Medical Statement (will be accomplished at the beginning of the course).
- has read the current rules prior to the course. We will start with a knowledge test!!!

Registration with AIDA
To be active as an AIDA Judge, you must be registered with AIDA.
If you are a DFA member and you have the Dutch nationality, you can register with AIDA and your registration will be approved by the DFA.
If you do not have the Dutch nationality, your registration must be approved by the AIDA National of the country where your passport was issued.

You can register for the AIDA Judge Pool course by filling in the registration form and paying the course fee.
